XWater Technology was founded in 2016 by a small group of highly experienced and passionate engineers. Our mission was clear from the start: to develop and deliver complete, high-quality water treatment systems designed and executed by Khmer engineers, bringing local expertise to the forefront of the industry.

XWater Technology partnered with global water solution provider Fluence Corporation to secure a massive contract valued at over US$7 million. Commissioned by Cambodia's Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, the project involved building decentralized wastewater treatment plants in Sihanoukville Port using 66 SUBRE Membrane Aerated Biofilm Reactor (MABR) towers with a capacity of 15,100 cubic meters per day.

Successfully completed and commissioned the first major municipal MABR wastewater installation, which triggered an additional US$8.5 million government expansion contract and an exclusive national project partnership with Fluence Corporation.

In 2022, our CEO, Dr. Rith LY, represented XWATER Technology Co., Ltd. as a featured speaker at the 3rd Cambodia–Japan Public-Private Platform for Urban Development. Speaking alongside government leaders and international experts, his participation highlighted XWATER's leadership in smart city innovation, digital transformation, and sustainable urban development in Cambodia.

Continued collaboration on the MABR-based wastewater treatment facility projects in Sihanoukville. Successfully advanced the development of the 3rd major wastewater treatment plant project in Sihanoukville, showcasing the firm's capacity to manage high-capacity (20,000 m³/day) municipal water treatment infrastructure.

XWater heavily showcased its technical engineering products at the 2nd National Science, Technology, and Innovation Day held at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Center. The company used this prominent government platform to demonstrate its local, cost-saving engineering capabilities for large-scale municipal wastewater and clean water systems.

Positioned as an industry leader, XWater entered high-level investment talks with the Ministry of Public Works and Transport for regional municipal Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP) projects. XWater also participated as a key technical partner and exhibitor at the prestigious Cambodia International Construction Industry EXPO 2025.

Oknha Dr. Ly Rith, Chairman of XWater Technology Co., Ltd., served as a key executive representative of the Cambodia Constructors Association (CCA) at a significant member gathering held on May 8, 2026, at the Canadia Tower in Phnom Penh. The event brought together industry leaders to strengthen networking, elevate technical standards, and explore emerging business opportunities across Cambodia's construction and infrastructure sectors.
